Hi everyone I'm hoping you can help me with this problem.

i own a domain name, lets call it example.com. Essentially I need to transfer ownership of this domain to a friend of mine.

From what I can see I can change the name and address in the WHOIS of the domain, but I dont see anything else that needs to be done.

Can it really be that simple to transfer the ownership of a domain to someone else? Do I need to tell the registrar specifically or anything like that?
