I've not actually owned many domain names in my time, just a couple for my blog.

I'm just about to register a new domain, paulypaulsworld.eu.

I've never registered a .eu domain name before.

What I need to know is if there is any other costs involved? Someone told me that different kinds of domains cost more to purchase for the second year than the first and they you can be charged if you want to change your WHOIS information. Is any of that true?
