Why are so many authors on Goodreads?
Because Goodreads recommendations and reviews drive more sales at Amazon than any other website.

Why are so many authors NOT on Goodreads?
It's a large site which overwhelms many authors. It is easy to push Goodreads onto the "I'll figure it out tomorrow" list

My name is Anne Emerick. I'm the author of eight books. I've seen increased sales in my Amazon sales from Goodreads activity and wanted to pass on what I've learned to other Warriors. I'm by no means an expert on Goodreads and Goodreads is definitely NOT a quick path to massive book sales, but... I am proof that even a bit of Goodreads knowledge and activity can make a significant difference.
