...It Wasn’t Always Rainbows and Lollipops


I wasn't always in this position... I started out without ANY technical knowledge (literally didn't even know how to add text or images in Wordpress!). I didn't have a CLUE what affiliate marketing was when I first started. A friend taught me the basics and with a little luck I started doing "okay" with affiliate marketing.

Fast forward a few months and I was driving more traffic and sales to a company's site than they were driving on their own.



And I started making PILES of cash.


In 2005 I decided to take a 3 year sabbatical to live the entrepreneur’s life. On the side I was an online marketing consultant for one of the largest real estate projects in Costa Rican history.


Everything was Great Until…


In 2008, near the end of my sabbatical, I discovered my stock market portfolio had dipped by 80%!

(At this time I had foolishly invested ALL my money in the stock market, so losing 80% of my money was a BIG DEAL!) I freaked out. I realized I had to act immediately, and rented out my house in Costa Rica because I couldn’t afford “the lifestyle” anymore.
And because when it rains, it pours…
Due to the economic downslide, my real estate consulting project was put on hold - and with that - my entire future.
