Hi, I have just started a new online site and was wondering how can I accept payments onto my site taking credit card payments?

Any suggestions on a good merchant?

As of now my site only accepts membership fees through paypal. I to my understanding the person paying also hase to be a member of paypal to pay using a crdit card.
