I notice that the plugin is in rar file and you know you can't install rar file as plugin except zip... Pls how do I go abt it

LOL!! Yes you can't install rar fine on wordpress well first unrar it then make it zip file then install it on your wordpress

Or just unrar it and FTP the directory up to your plugin directory for the site you want to use it on. Once uploaded, go to your admin panel plugin page and activate it.

I just installed the plugin on my site and its working fine for me.

You must be doing something wrong.

Download this one (I made it a Zip file)

Login to wordpress -> Go to plugins -> Add New -> Click on the upload link -> Choose the file from your desktop -> Click Install now.

If it still does not work. Then update wordpress and all of your plugins.
If then still does not work then i have no idea why.

Dint see plugin setting option on your admin panel? installed plugin should be in your panel just check it carefully
