You might be thinking that if I make money with Adsense, then why am I selling this course instead of just making more websites (I would be thinking that being the sceptic that I am).

I am an entrepreneur, but I would certainly not consider myself to be a risk-taker. Being that way, I never want to put all my eggs in one basket. I am a big believer in diversifying risk.
