People forget about this hurdle when they're getting into online biz. It used to be the most overused biz cliche around, but it's shifted away from that in the past few years.
This is messed up, but when I wrote my amazon best seller I did it to prove that the system could be manipulated. And I was right. I became a best seller overnight (pre-AI writers, kind of). I didn't really consider the know, like, trust factor.
But when I started chatting with potential clients I realized that I could get them primed to know, like, and trust me before we ever got on the phone (this was a service based offer) by giving them a free copy of my Amazon Best Selling book that basically just answered the FAQs for my target audience. I don't think they even had to read it.
They just saw that it was there, saw that there was info in there that was relevant to their situation, and it established that authority that allowed that trust between us.
